Appointment
FSNT’s Appointment by the University of Zimbabwe as an external advisor to handle GBV cases at the institution. FSNT’s recognition by the United States of American Embassy in Zimbabwe, Harare as the hub of female student leaders to undergo SUSI civic engagement exchange program every year in America. The program is a 5 -6 weeks exchange program meant to equip student leaders in various institutions of Africa with requisite skills that enhances their leadership stamina towards positive social change. To date, the Network has facilitated the participation of more than 10 participants into these programs who are now great leaders in different spheres of society.
Awards
In 2015 FSNT was Awarded the ‘Outstanding Civil Society Organization Human Rights Defender’. (Conferred by Zimbabwe Human Rights Association)
In 2016 FSNT won the Inaugural UNESCO 1st Edition Prize for Girls and Women Education in Beijing, China. The project was titled: ‘Empowerment of Tertiary Education Female Students Through Leadership Development and Mentorship Programs’.
